This pH Water Test Kit is a standard chemistry testing liquid used to test the pH of tap, bottled and well water. Fill the provided vial 1/4 inch with water, drop in one drop with the eye dropper, and watch as the water turns one of the colors of the rainbow. For instance, purple indicates 10 pH alkalinity, green indicates a neutral pH of 7, orange indicates a 4 pH acidity, etc.
The water we drink should test at least slightly above neutral, like our blood pH which is 7.365. Best, of course, is higher alkalinity and with a water ionizer you can make high alkaline ionized water with a pH of 10! Hi! Tina Rappaport here - owner of URparamount. I travel with this little pH test kit in my purse so I can test bottled water when/if I have to purchase it, as water less than a 7 pH is detrimental to your acid - alkaline balance and may be dentrimental for your health. It's also handy when I visit friends so I can test their water. I never leave home without it!
